Founder and Designer

Growing up on a beautiful farm in New Zealand, nature was my first muse. Plants and landscapes provided the shapes and forms of my world and from an early age I remember being fascinated about how one could work with nature to create new shapes, new designs. With now over 15 years experience designing with plants – artificial and real – I continue to be inspired by transforming spaces with nature.

Envisioning is at the heart of designing and I’ve worked through the years to develop my range of understanding art, form and space. My artistic taste is eclectic and always evolving, with current passions being photography of urban scenes and nature, mid-century art and working with recycled/found objects and plants.

Working with clients, whether corporate or individual, is always particularly exciting to me. Each client has individual tastes, preferences, and interests, and each space brings its own benefits and challenges. My first career was as a hair stylist/colorist, and it was then that I learned to truly listen to my clients. Now, as a designer working with plants, I remain committed to understanding my clients’ goals and dedicated to delivering a range of exciting and unique possibilities. There is no better feeling than seeing your clients’ eyes light up when they say “Yes, that’s it!”
