CHALLENGE

My clients, avid art collectors, were seeking something truly unique to adorn the walls of their 25’ x 18’ home gym. Their love of nature drew them to consider plants, yet they found options were limited as the room had very minimal natural light. Additionally, my clients wanted to explore ways to buffer the sound of their workout equipment.

SOLUTION

Artificial succulent walls can provide a creative solution for rooms which offer minimal natural light.  With the correct selection of the best artificial succulents, artfully arranged to involve the correct balance of color and texture, rooms can truly be transformed. I created three 6’ x 4.5’ artificial succulent wall panels and set them on the wall three feet apart. Succulents were arranged to reflect the raw beauty of nature, while adding the right depth and accents of color for the room. Although the addition of these panels would naturally help absorb some of the noise concerning my clients, soundproof backing was added on each panel to further limit acoustics. My clients were thrilled with the results: wall art that exudes a sense of the natural outdoors…not only its visual beauty, but also the peace and quiet!
