CHALLENGE

Roche Bobois is an international leader in high-end, contemporary designs, with 250 showrooms around the world, so I was truly honored to be invited to create a unique art piece for their San Francisco showroom. The request included a desire for a bold, creative piece that would create impact and resonate with their innovative designs. 

SOLUTION

Any designer would be thrilled to have their creation featured in a showroom as fabulous as the Roche Bobois! I was confident that an exclusively designed artificial succulent panel would provide a vibrant and striking complement to their original designs. As this would be placed on a column, I designed an 8’ x 3’ panel of artfully arranged artificial succulents, densely packed to generate a particularly rich tapestry of colors and textures.

I am very pleased to say that the response to this installation has been amazing. Showroom staff and clients have commended its originality and design. Additionally, many expressed genuine surprise upon hearing that the succulents were artificial, which is an illusion I work to ensure with my design.
